Official Moscow has declared many times that stable and peaceful Afghanistan is in our interests and that’s why Moscow is ready to support international efforts in Afghanistan to stabilize and to fight extremists and terrorist forces on the soil of Afghanistan.

At the same time for Russia it is very important to have clear vision of future military operation and international framework in Afghanistan.

That’s why Moscow is very interested in understanding short and long term perspectives of NATO and United States presence in this country.
