Russia takes part in tourism exhibition in Mumbai

TTF/OMT Mumbai, India’s leading exhibition for Travel and Tourism Industry, which concluded today. The three-day exhibition which started on Feb 17, was inaugurated by Chinese Consulate General in NIUQING BAO in presence of his counterparts from Egypt, Indonesia and Russia.

 

The TTF Mumbai provides a platform to over 400 participants from all the states in India and abroad including the private players.


The international participation this year included representatives from Egypt, Thailand, Malaysia, Russia, Turkey, Philippines, China, Britain etc. JK Pavilion in the exhibition had accommodated people from private and government sector, JKTDC, SKICC, etc, who had sent their representatives.


Participants from Kashmir told Greater Kashmir on phone that the JK Pavilion was a big attraction in the exhibition. 


An official of the tourism department said: “Director Tourism, Farooq Shah, personally monitored the arrangements and held meetings with the important travel and tour bodies of central India, particularly with the Maharashtra travel tour federation president and other established names like Kesri tours and Cox and Kings.” Other officials at the exhibition were Javed Amin, Deputy Director, Tourism and Asif Khan, Assistant Resident Commissioner of J&K Government in Mumbai
