The J. Nehru Center asked the Bashkortostan-India Society for Friendship and Cultural Ties to support the performance by eleven Indian artists, staged in Ufa in April 18, 2012.

The choice of Ufa was based on the longstanding friendly relations between our republic and India. Our artists have often toured cities in India. The Bashkir Puppet Theater is the only group from Russia to have won the international Jawaharlal Nehru Prize.

Another outstanding achievement of the Republic of Bashkortostan is the current agreement between the Ufa Motors Production Association and the Republic of India.

The Nizami Brothers (India) concert will take place April 18 in the assembly hall of the Bashkir State Medical University (2 Teatralnaya Street, Building 10). The curtain rises at 17:00.
