The more than 2,000 servicemen from the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be drilled in coordinating effort in an antiterrorist operation, on the Chorhudairon training field in the north of Tajikistan.

 

Russia is represented by motorized infantry and artillery units of the military base 201, which is located in Tajikistan, as well as by warplanes.

 

The manoeuvres are due to end on the 14th of this month.
